Spinning, leaping, gliding—these dancing puppets dazzled audiences with their costumes, expressions, and gestures.

Skilled puppet makers and performers Ada Forman, the Lauer Sisters, and Frank Paris entertained audiences with their creations, which often depicted celebrities of the 1920s and 1930s, including ice-skating champion Sonja Henie, actress Greta Garbo, and performer Josephine Baker.
