Please join us for the Women’s History Month Educator Workshop at the Detroit Institute of Arts! During the workshop, participants will learn about what the DIA offers educators, experience a model field trip highlighting the work of women, and hear from DIA curator Dr. Denene De Quintal about the exhibition Vitality and Continuity, which celebrates some of the critical roles Anishinaabe, Inuit, and Pueblo women fulfill in their families, communities, and the art world.

Participants will also experience a facilitated artmaking session inspired by female mentors and influences.
